Our Programs

The Tiyya Foundation provides 3 core programs throughout Orange County and Los Angeles focused on Family Services, Economic Advancement, and Community.

Tiyya takes a no-tolerance approach to xenophobia, racism, islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and sexism. We stand in solidarity with all refugees, undocumented immigrants, survivors of trafficking, and displaced indigenous communities.

Family Services

Family services

When starting over in a new country, we understand that families are particularly susceptible to feelings of isolation. Our programs are designed to help people feel a sense of community through a robust calendar of activities that foster relationships and facilitate employment opportunities.

Economic Advancement

Economic Advancement

We understand that working hard and striving for upward economic mobility is a high priority for immigrant families. Through our services, we support individuals in navigating employment. This is done through individual support with our Economic Navigator and volunteer community.

Community

Community Tiyya

Made up of Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Immigrant identifying folx; our gatherings are designed to develop community in a meaningful way. This is a great space for those seeking new experiences and expanding their network. Our events are rooted in international cuisines and global music. A great way to reimagine belonging after displacement.
