Our Programs
The Tiyya Foundation provides 3 core programs throughout Orange County and Los Angeles focused on Family Services, Economic Advancement, and Community.
Tiyya takes a no-tolerance approach to xenophobia, racism, islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and sexism. We stand in solidarity with all refugees, undocumented immigrants, survivors of trafficking, and displaced indigenous communities.
Family Services
Starting over in a new country can feel isolating. Our programs help people find community, build lasting relationships, and discover new opportunities through welcoming gatherings and shared experiences.
Economic Advancement
We know that creating economic opportunity is a top priority for many families. Through one-on-one support from our Economic Navigator and volunteer community, we help individuals take the next step toward meaningful employment.
Community
Our gatherings bring people together through international cuisine and global music, creating meaningful connections and new experiences. It's a welcoming space to build community, expand your circle, and reimagine belonging after displacement.
