Become a Family Mentor
Family Mentors help families become accustomed to living in America through job coaching (finding employment), English coaching, and/or tutoring a youth member. Most importantly, they become friends with families starting over. Because every family is unique, Family Mentors must be aware that each family has different needs and concerns that they would like addressed; some needs include acquiring basic necessities. Family Mentors will go through training and have the support of the entire Tiyya team and other Mentors if needed.
