Christina Ong is a Ph.D. student in Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as the first Program Development Director for Tiyya and currently coordinates different projects revolving around refugee education, storytelling, and activism for various organizations around the world. Christina credits her work with Tiyya and her family history of immigration as the foundation for her commitment to social justice and equity for all people.
